After Carlos Tevez, Juventus and Manchester City may have reached an agreement in principle for Citizens of another player. Player we are talking about is Aleksandar Kolarov, former Lazio full-back, who could then return in the Italian league. Was reported by Sportmediaset, according to which, after the weekend of rest for the duo Marotta-Guild, the Bianconeri could close the deal with the outside Serbia, which goes parallel to chat with Torino for Ogbonna. The deal for Kolarov, paradoxically, however, seems closer to closure: interest-bearing loan of 1.5 million euro ransom more "mandatory" to 5.5 million.

Juve lead Inter for Kolarov

Juventus are battling Inter to bring in Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Kolarov, valued at £6m.

The Serbian international has repeatedly suggested he wants more playing time and is prepared to leave City in order to get it.

Inter had been tracking the former Lazio man for some time, but according to Tuttosport Juventus are surging into the lead.

They have proposed a €1.5m fee (£1.3m) to take Kolarov on loan for a year, plus an option for another €5.5m (£4.7m) to make the move permanent.

The funds would be raised by selling Swiss international Reto Ziegler to either Galatasaray or Besiktas, as they have reportedly offered €4m.

Juve have already done business with Manchester City this week, signing Carlos Tevez for €9m (£7.7m) plus a further potential €6m (£5m) in performance-related bonuses.

I have to disagree with you. Kolarov is a great all-around player, but his speed lets him down a lot. He often forgets his defensive duties and ends up flying all over the pitch like Dani Alves, but unlike him, Kolarov doesn't have the pace that would allow him to quickly get back to his possition and clear the danger. Basically, Lulic is a faster and more disciplined player than Kolarov and I think he'd perfect for us.

I don't know. I see Lulic as a typical old-school left back for 4-4-2. I like him, but I don't think he'd suit us in this formation.

As for Kolarov, he's not fast, but the guy has huge steps and he gets past opponents quite often IMO and has a very good cross while being aggressive most of the time. We need an offensive wing back at this point, someone who can make the penetration down the left flank. Licht is defensive enough, he's also way better in 4 man defense on the right side. We also have Marchisio and Vidal who can cover a lot of defensive duties, so I don't think we'd feel defensive holes that often. Also, I don't think Lulic is capable of adding anything extra compared to Asamoah.
