Problem i see besides wages and purchase price is the fact Kolarov seeks to start and be in the starting 11 always unless rested. Asamoah is there regardless of how different he is to Kolarov we dont need him and frankly I dont want asa on the bench. we saw how much our left side suffered without him when he was at afcon and beyond until he fullly recovered. Kolarov doesnt want to rotate and im sure neither doesn asa. Even if by dont stroke of wackyness marchisio got sold Pogba would be in the middle before Asa would anyways and to be frank Pogba will probably start next season over marchisio or atleast he will eventually next season. Conte didnt say you cant keep a guy like pogba on the bench for nothing. Shoot he already pushed marchisio out of his position the last few games anyways. we'l see but i dont see kolarov coming here.
 right, just to let kolarov supporters know, asamoah is just 24 and he is valued at 20 million on the transfer market (i am not joking), he is also faster and actually more skillful he does step-overs etc... kolarov is 27 and he is valued at about 12 million. that for me in just unnecessary.

Asamoah is naturally a midfielder tho, right? With Kolarov at LB we could use Asa in the midfield more often.

If we sell PDC and Matri or Quags then the money shouldn't be an issue.
he has been playing at wing and he has done superb. better than kolarov at city and lazio. he will also be quite loyal to juve i recon. kolarov is just an old scrap of metal that costs too much and is unecessaary. look, we have 3/4 players on that only position, asamoah giacchierni (who has done superb at the confederation and should not be bench really) we also have peluso and de ceglie. what more?

Forgot we bought peluso outright. If Asa js happy on the left flank, then ur right no meed for kolarov
the only reason why we would buy kolarov is if we turn to a 4 man defence in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 with asamoah in the attacking wing and kolarov in defensive wing, but 3-5-2 has been perfect for us as it is very versatile.

I don't understand the suggestion that Kolarov would be signed to facilitate a change to a back four.

Given his defensive frailties, I'd see him as a far better wing-back than full-back.

Asamoah is like a black Krasic, he just does the same thing over and over and over. Kolarov would be an improvement to our game by making us more dynamic down the left.

It would be nice to sign him, especially if he takes a Tevez-like pay cut. (~50%)

I heard our offer is 1.5M loan fee, with the option to buy for 5.5M.

I just hope he'd be the Lazio Kolarov, and not the City one.

Excuse me? Kwadwo is easily 5 times the player Krasic ever was/will be, defensively he is a MONSTER!! He gets the job done, sure he is frustrating offensively but just because of that you shouldn't discredit his contribution to the team. He has been outstanding for a player played out of position and truthfully if he where playing for Lazio or Napoli in the same role the same people criticizing him would be drooling over him. I'm confident that he can be converted into a proper LB aswell the dude is versatile and very skillfull. Not everybody can be a Roberto Carlos, but give credit where it's due.

Buullllshiitt, he does tend to do the same thing but he is effective. His numbers prove that.

Marotta offered 1.5M for loan + 5.5 option to buy to City, total 7M.

City said they will consider it.

Ziegler may head to Besiktas for 4M, De Ceglie to Samp who had asked for him several times before.
