Lichtsteiner, Pepe and Isla are not even LWBs/LBs. And the rest don't offer what Kolarov does.

he would certainly offer s some penetration and much needed crosses from the left side.

felt like another problem we willl have in 3-5-2 against european clubs is lack of width offered when attacking.

Citeh fucked up this guys development. Kolarov was a solid LB/LWB in Lazio with a high ceiling to develop further as a player; he has since been an absolute shambles in Manchester. It's a shame since I thought he was a solid prospect to look out for. I remember him turning Caceres inside out before unleashing a ferocious drive. I watched a decent ammount of citeh the past 2 years, and his defensive deficiencies are glaring. He seems to have cement in his boots out there. Quite a few Citeh supporters reckon he's got the pace of a slug. He's on mammoth wages too, which would be an obstacle for interested parties.

If we could sign him for 8 million euros max, and he agreed to a wage cut, I think he'd be a solid signing for his crossing and deadball delivery.

for me asamoah and litchsteiner do the job of width just fine. going to a 4 man defence is risky because u can't push the fullbacks too much or u would leave gaps. having 3 man defence in 3-5-2 allows the wingbacks to go attacking but they should defend too.
