i also agree that they are different kind of players(gila-ibra)

i doubt if ibra can really improve his awful finishing,
and even if he does imo he wont be at the same level

If thats the stupidest thing you've evere heard, wait till you hear Galliani is actually willing to pay close to Gila's asking price of 30m.
Besides, I'd much rather have an overated Zlatan on my team than an overated/unproven Gila. Hes not value for his price tag, and i hope Moggi uses that 30m more wisely than Galliani intends on doing.

Maybe perform on a bigger stage? The fact is, he is not worth 30m. Remember, its one thing to have talent, but that counts for nothing if you've not got the temperament to put it out there on a higher level. A Gilardino at Parma can be a lot different than a Gilardino at Milan. In addition, I certainly dont think hes worth double of what we bought Zlatan for, since we're making comparisons on that front as well.
i have to disagree with ppl who say that gilardino isnt worth the money spent him.i belive he is one of the best strikers around,and he could well go on to become the deadliest in the world in a few years time.
about his transfer price..i think ppl need to realise that 30 million may not be parma's correct valuation of him,and they know it,but the only reason thay want such a high price for is him becuase he means to them what shevchenko means to milan.they are a club in crisis desperate for re-inforcements and it is only natural of them to put such a high tag on a player with stunning potential.
and im certain if moggi does put forward an offer for him,it wont be a straight 30 million offer,he might offer a lower price along with players like maresca,miccoli or EVEN crespo.
no one knew that trezeguet wud develop into such a great stiker at the higest level when he joined juve from monaco,no one knew that zidane wud turn into something so brilliant at the highest level when he joined juve,no one knew that shevchenko wud develop into something so brilliant when milan signed him from kiev.
and we can look at robert baggio..joining juve from fiorentina was a step forward for him.there were always ppl who said that juve shud not invest in a talent that was untested at the highest level,but juve DID take the gamble and we all know of the effect baggio had.

there must be someting special about gilardino which makes clubs splash out such high offers for him.he has literally carried parma's flag on his own young shoulders for the last two seasons.and doing that at club that wud eventually end up in a relegation dog fight,what more cud u want from a 22 year old lad who saved parma from relegation virtually on his own?
this could well be juventus's last chance to get him at turin,becuase if he joins milan,i dont see him leaving the san siro for a very long time because we all know how sticky milan are with their players.
and i really dont care if milan are closing in on him,
until i read 'OFFICIAL : GILARDINO SIGNS FOR MILAN' in the press,i will always have faith in moggi.

Parma have finally agreed to sell star striker Alberto Gilardino to Milan even if no official announcement has been made.
It is believed that the two clubs have reached an agreement over the fee, even if contracts may not be swapped until Monday or Tuesday.
The Rossoneri have been in pursuit of the forward for some time after allegedly agreeing personal terms with the player months ago.
But getting the Tardini outfit to accept a bid has been the biggest problem for the San Siro side.
After initially asking for £35m, Parma lowered that price tag to a more reasonable £22m even if Milan continued to claim that was too expensive.
Parma rejected a £19m offer last week but it is believed that a deal has finally been sorted out for the Italian international.
The turning point in the negotiations came when Milan agreed to pay Parma’s share of a special clause in Gilardino’s contract.
If Parma sold the player for over £14m, they would in turn have to pay Gilardino a bonus payment of £1.4m.
Milan will now pay that amount to the player and hand his club £18.6m, therefore capturing the 23-year-old in a £20m deal.
Gilardino should net himself a five-year contract worth £2.1m a season.
Although reports insist a deal has been done, Parma have moved quickly to claim that the transfer has not been completed.
"Parma announce that they have sold nobody, on a permanent or temporary basis, except those which have already been made official on the club’s website," read a statement.

I am realy sick of the news that Gilardino is going to join Milan next year. He was a perfect Juve striker in my opinion, Young, talented and Italian. I realy hate that ****ing Moggi at this moment.
