but...come to think of it..
milan already have : shevchenko,inzaghi,tomassn,crespo

and they have said they will make a very big signing in the summer, and they are very confident of brining the player..the name of the player has not been relvealed, but from wt ive heard,it cud be ronaldo from real madrid.

if tht goes thru, milan wud have : shevchenko, inzaghi, tomasson, crespo and ronaldo.

im assuming tht milan will give madrid one of their strikers,it cud well be crespo(if milan DO sign him),in order to bring ronaldo to the san siro.

then milan wud have : sheva, inzaghi, tomasson, ronaldo

inzaghi and tomasson r as good as over.
but with ronaldo and sheva around..
why wud milan want gilardino?

something very weird is going on in the transfer market..and i belive none of us have any clue abt it.we're only look at the tip of the water.the depth come have something we never expect.
i hope wtever is in the depth does juve a lot of good:D
**** milan.
Last year it was a special market mode "NEW COACHES"(Capello to Juve, Mancini to inter, Del Neri..Voller to roma, Murinho to Chelsea, Lippi to Azzurri, Trap to Benfica....)
Who know what will be this season's motto...

Chiellini isn't a sure signing yet sally. Giannichedda's transfer brings me comfort.

Regarding this thread, I don't really feel we need to sign Gilardino or Cassano. If they came at a lowe price, we could. But their valuations at the moment are for the "Rich" clubs only.

Rich being something that Juve utterly denies itself.

Or at least we dont spend as a rich club
(most of the times)

Milan will fail to buy Ronaldo,
Gila's name will be anounced in a couple of weeks or so,
but the deal is already done IMO:down:

Kovac and Giannichedda, great and what now??????
Milan is the club which really perceive this transfer period very seriously, and looks like we are not trying to solve our current problems.
I'm affraid of inter moves, anyway somehow I think that it is finaly time for them to do something serious.

Chill out people, stop comparing what we've done so far to what Milan have done. Think last summer, we brought in two useful squad players on frees (Zebina and Kapo), secured the signing of Emerson later on, and made our biggest moves on deadline day. We've again brought in two useful squad players on frees (Kovac and Giannichedda), I reckon someone like Mozart will be a Juve player in a couple of weeks or so, and there's plenty of time to reinforce the squad after that. So what, we've missed out on Oddo and Jankulovski. Hardly the end of the world if you ask me.

Ok ,but Kapo wont stay.and we have to many non creative mids, and our defence is to old,we need someone young (Masiello forexample will be best option because he is our guy),and Nedved must be replaced in the future but who will be manage for such thing?

I've always thought that Oddo is underrated, but he can prove very useful. Stu's right though.
Many ppl have always forgot wad Oddo is capable of. His free kicks + penalty kicks were be a boost for Milan. He will be the right person to replace Cafu once he join Milan.

Parma open Gilardino auction Tuesday 21 June, 2005

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Parma have played down widespread reports that Alberto Gilardino will definitely be sold to Milan this summer.

Some stories in the peninsula have even claimed that the striker could complete his move on Wednesday.

But Luca Baraldi, Parma’s chief operating officer, has insisted that nothing has yet been decided regarding Gilardino’s next destination.

"I can exclude that the Gilardino transfer will be completed tomorrow," Baraldi told the media. "Milan are interested in him but so too are a host of other clubs.

"Up until Saturday we were concentrating on surviving relegation, we will now think about the transfer market."

Chelsea, Real Madrid, Juventus and Inter are other teams who are interested in the £25m-rated international.

The Gialloblu have been linked with Brescia’s Andrea Caracciolo today as Gilardino’s replacement, but Baraldi again stalled.

"Caracciolo is an excellent player but Parma will firstly need to look at the finances involved," he added.

The Tardini outfit are also looking for a new Coach but there is a chance that Pietro Carmignani may remain.

"We will look at the coaching situation this week," he added. "I personally think that Carmignani has done enough this season to be confirmed in the job."

Carmignani replaced Silvio Baldini during the last campaign, keeping the club in the top-flight after a survival play-off win against Bologna.

    There is still hope.
For the moment I'd prefer him above Cassano:

    Gilardino
    Mutu/DP Zlatan

no hope, the deal is signed sealed and delivered. The deal was done a year ago.

Remember the Parma problems last year, they "could" of gone bankrupt or relegated to Serie B foe $$$ problems. Guess who "helped" them? That's right, none other than the President of Italy, Mr. Berlu****isface. Guess what he wanted in return?
