to be honest I wouldn't be jumping for joy if we used Mutu in a swap deal with Gilardino. First of all I think Adrian has an immense amount to offer Juventus, and I'd feel terrible for him after he chose to sign with us instead of a team that actually had long-term plans for the player.

I'm praying you're right Z,but the money could be better used on the defence and midfield imo.

I wouldn't mind leaving the forward lineup as it is.
I disagree here,
the attackers are the most expensive players
and top attackers are hard to find these days,
a finisher like gila is the kind of players wich can decide a game,
if we loose the chance to grab him now and he signs to a greater club,
what are we going to do next year?
And what if next year our attacking problems keep us away from the championship and we perform ever worse to CL?
=>even less funds, how we will make the big finisher transfer?
Our defence is ok for now, this year prooved that,
if we had better attack solutions we could do much more,
(pool wouldnt get away like that),
zambro, thuram and canna can keep our def one more year
and covac, chiellini and barzagli might give a new depth to our team,
we dont need a world class defender now, that means we sould bench a star and that always create problems and trouble, esp for a team who cant affort a star on the bench like "POOR" juve,
we can buy chivu or smth like that next year IF thuram wont be able to play world class all the time,
as for the midfield, we all wish a creative midfielder like aimar,
atleast a pizarro or a mozart kind of player,
but we are an italian team with an italian coach who plays 9players defending,2DM and 2wingers,
that creates the need for 2attackers who can work a lot, create and finish the few chances we willl create.
Gilardino and Zlatan can do the job for us,
we can base on them for the years to come,
our attacking problems would be solved long enough till we find time to recalibrate our team, replace some old members, slowly one by one, in the midfield and defence without the need to spend much again the years to come

Our defence,as you said, will probably be able to sustain us for another year. Our attack on the other hand is set for the next half a decade at least.Zlatan is 23,Mutu and Trezeguet are 26/27,their best days are ahead of them.We sorely need a replacement for Nedved and a partner for Emerson, because these are departments we will be lacking in next season,if this season is anything to go by.Gilardino is a good forward,no doubt, but I'm willing to risk Mutu for a year.He is arguably more talented than Gilardino,it's just a question of form.No matter what formation we play, the fact is alot of our players in the defence and Neddy are getting old and we should seek to get replacements for them sooner instead of later.

I agree, i wont be happy and,
This will not likely happen as Mutu will never agree to a contract offered by Parma, a struggling side both on the pitch and financially. Its different than a switch to Roma, who are a much bigger team although Now, struggling too.

I think our midfield needs all the money we can get.

I've said it time and again, Mutu should be considered untouchable on this year's transfer market. Del Piero is clearly ailing, and i dont see a sharper, more versatile replacement on the pitch, than Adrian Mutu. He could prove a vital link for Juve this season, and thats why he deserves at least a year out on the field in the Juve shirt. Anybody who is to be drafted in to the squad should if at all, be brought in on Del Piero's expense. I am not in favour one little bit for Cassano or Gila if they're going to be coming at Mutu's expense. Adrian has a good five seasons ahead of him, and hopefully they'll be spent winning titles with Juventus.

I C, u put ur hopes on Mutu and Trezequet,
sorry but i dont!
i seriusly doubt that mutu is more talented than Gilardino or he could ever gain his forn
and he isn t what we need most, a pure striker,
i believe the best way to use mutu is in the trident with zlatan and mutu to create and treze or Gila to finish, i would like to see that but i dont think Cap will do that,he is too old to change mind.
So the big problem and the even bigger question is what are we gonna do with Trezequet.
I personally dont dare to put our hopes to trezequet, again,
as he dissapointed me the last years.
I believe his time has come to leave,
he didnt left last year because the bids werent the right and he had a second chance he blowed again,
since he is the only real finisher we have, i believe that it would be a mistake to waste another year waiting for him to find his form back and make him another Del Piero.
If we keep him now and he fail again then we sure wont be able to sell him since noone wont take a finished player and we will stuck with him the next 3-4years,
instead a Zlatan-Gila twin would do miracles.
About the midfield, Gianni can take Appiahs place Edu or Mozart help a lot
and a free Ze roberto type to replace Nedved, u can always can find solution for the midfield but we can hardly find opportunities like Gila.
Its a good thing to think of the future,
but u have to secure the present first,
we have an attack problem,
its unwise to let it be and buy defenders for the future,
dont fix it, if it isnt broken, we have the tools, the replacement pieces(kovac, chiellini, barzagli or bonera)
we just need power upfront,
there is were the problem is, and its needed to be fixed, NOW.
We are a defencive team with a def coach,
we dont have the alternative to play attacking football with OMs,
our attackers sould be very eficient, on form, active and reliable
esp the finisher.

if mutu stays, he will not be used as a striker. capello has already stated his desires about using mutus pace to link the midfield to the strikers. but then again, who knows what capello will do next season.

as for me, we already had a replacement for del piero and that was miccoli. so these days, my opinion is that anything can happen.

Parma is asking for 64M
to release gila
i think Milan and Juve are out of the race
No, parma stated that it would be 35m

Knowing how Juve works we could probably get Gila but I honestly think Milan has more to offer to him

No matter who buys Gila, they won't pay 35m for him.

Parma need money badly, and the clubs after Gila know this. The only way Parma will get anywhere near this amount is if a bidding war begins. And Moggi isn't stupid enough to get into one of those. Only Moratti will do that.

I think Gila would prefer Juve over the rest (of course I could be wrong) and Moggi will use this to get him, obviously not cheaply, but for nowhere near the amount Parma are saying they want for him.

i think Mutu should stay , thus we don't need any new strikers unless we buy Trez , then Gila will be the perfect buy for us
