so after this i think moggi must change his plan
Why exacly? I mean do you think that our transfer market depends on what Milan does or not? Do you think that Moggi is THAT dumb that he didn't know that Milan will get Gilardino... I mean we all know it...

Milan got Gilardino? Good for them, it will make the championchip more fun...

Lets not panic people.

Milan net Gilardino at last!
Monday 18 July, 2005
Alberto Gilardino is now officially a Milan player after he finally completed his transfer from Parma.

The Rossoneri have been linked with the striker for months and talks were only concluded late on Monday night.

"I’m finally a Milan player," Gilardino, 23, told the club’s website. "It’s taken some time to sort out but now I just have to pass a medical. I can’t wait to start training."

The two clubs had been in negotiations at Milan’s Via Turati headquarters all day, but a deal was expected to be reached after Gilardino himself arrived just before 9pm local time.

"Why did I choose Milan? They fascinate me and they are clearly the strongest club in European football," added the Azzurri star.

"There are some great players at this club. This is a fantastic stage for me where I will be given a chance to impress."

There is yet to be an official announcement over the figures involved but Parma are believed to have accepted a fee of around £18m.

Gilardino, who has put pen to paper on a five-year contract, is considered as one of Italy hottest strikers after netting 23 goals in each of his last two League campaigns.

Milan now have one of the most feared attacking line-ups in world football as Gila joins Andriy Shevchenko, Christian Vieri and Pippo Inzaghi

GILARDINO JOINS MILAN!!
7/18/2005
MILAN - It is finally official: Alberto Gilardino has signed a contract with Milan. The striker announced the deal himself in a phone link-up during the 'Studio Milan' talkshow on Milan Channel: ’I'm very happy, it was a long negotiation that fortunately ended in the best way. Everything of this team fascinates me: the club, the history, the top players who are part of it. Why did I choose Milan? Because they are the strongest club in Europe and for me it is a great honour to wear these colours.'

Gila Sheva I can`t see them play together very well they are both the same type of player to me the one which just score
I think Milan need someone like DP (but better than DP) and not Gila but anyway don`t care I don`t see this year`s Milan better than the last yes Gilardino came and Vieri came but it`s not that essential but as for us Vieira I see us improved a lot by signing him but our problem remain the same we still need the playmaker kind of player which could make some plays dribble when needed and give those amazing passes!
Just dreaming of having Ronaldinho one day

The word "micromanagement" comes to mind when I think about how Berlusconi probably had a hand in this deal.
