Oops, that's too expensive. Poulsen-like salary right there.

He might not even be fit for half of the matches.

16M is pretty steep, so we might not end up exercising the option.

Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani's move to Juventus cancelled.

Roy Hodgson intimated last night that the former Roma youngster was likely to go back to Italy temporarily.

Juventus have been in the market for a ball-playing central midfielder all summer, but attention has so far focused on Lazio's Cristian Ledesma.

Juventus had finally found an agreement with Liverpool for Aquilani which was supposed to take the Italian to Turin. Juventus was supposed to pay his wages (around 3.5m Euros) but apparently some Juventuz users and shareholder's unwillingness to pay his wages saw the move cancelled. They stated that after finally getting rid of Poulsen's wages they're not prepared to commit themselves with a new player's wages.

Il Corriere understands that those users will now focus their attention on another candidate for Juventus midfield position, more specifically Jermaine Jenas, Juventuz spokeperson said to the press "Jenas is a more realistical option for us and all Juventus fan around the globe".

It is thought that the mastermind behind this was the user Turk_Bianconero who also is in talks to renew Sissoko's contract until he retires. However, the deal which will see "Momo" in a contract for life at Juventus is still in preliminary talks.

Aquilani's agent Franco Zavaglia has said that Juventus are cheap bastards and that he hopes he'll never have to do business with them again.

Il Corriere are confident that the Jenas operation will be done within a couple days.

So we take him as a temp solution and next year we will see if he is worth it if he does we sign him if not we could turn to Poli or whoever we think of

That's true.

So cup tied is 50/50?
Liverpool passed 3rd qualifying stage, it was against Rabotcniki or something similar. Yesterday was play-off round, and regulations does not say anything about it. I guess he would not be eligible to play. However, as far as I understand, he could be registered in January but only for a team of Champions League. At least it's what regulations state, but there might might some part I don't understande or some way to round it.
