The thing about Aquilani is that he's a very intelligent player, maybe a little too intelligent for the likes of Iqa and Amauri. We haven't had someone who passes the ball as well as he does in a very long time, it's such a waste when we play him with uncreative players. Don't get me wrong, Amauri and Iqa can be very useful players but I only see them being dangerous from good wing play. Aquilani won't be too much help to them in that respect.
I think he'll show his worth when he establishes an understanding with some of our attackers. I think he can combine well with Ale and Quag. We'll have to wait and see.
