Yeah, but Pool would have the final say.
They already do as long as we refuse to meet the 16mil price.
Right, Juve have the first option to pay 16 million, or convince Liverpool to go to a lower price. After the 15th Liverpool will be allowed to accept other offers. Depending on the amount of interest in the player, it might be smart for Juve to wait, if they really want him.

He really has been shocking since the new year. People aren't joking when they say he's Tiago 2.0.

If the Pool scouts have been watching, there's no way they'd want this guy in their new midfield. None. Zilch. Nada. Might as well exhume Anna Nicole Smith and toss her corpse from the Kop.

True.

If Juve aren't going to pay the 16, there's no harm in letting the dice roll and selling him to the highest bidder. Who knows, maybe Juve get him for like 8 if there isn't enough interest.

Aquilani's lack of backbone and heart is partly why we find ourselves where we are. It's not like he was world class in the fall anyway. He was good, not spectacular.

I know, but he was assisting goals and having games with 90% passing rates. He is a wuss, and won't save the team on his own, but if the rest of the team is doing well, he would too. If we don't buy him, and buy someone else (Pirlo, Montolivo, Sahin), the same thing can happen where that player does well until the team drops form and then he drops as well. And then we decide we don't like that guy either and want a new one. Maybe we should keep Aquilani and get the RB, LB, LM, etc. we need.

I thought he played a good first half versus Chievo. Glimpses of the talent at Roma. Dreadful second half though.

I want to see this Aquilani again though:
He was so dominant in that game.
