Marotta:"Aquilani has been a pleasant surprise for us because he had come from a negative period, We are satisfied for Juventus and for the way we have seen an important player get into the national team.

It's clear that on our part there is an intention to buy him. Of course, we have an option and we will see if there is a chance to trade at the right moment with Liverpool."

can one really give him credit for something he did not want ?

it's like blaming bonucci for a own goal he surely did not want to produce... first is good luck, second bad luck

So true :D
Well, lets give him credit for the first goal. He set it up nicely for Pepe, even though we were lucky here too when Rossi deflected Pepe's missplaced header into the net.

dont underrate him. i think a player of his calbire knows the positionig of toni and delivered very well.
With all due respect, that's so not true and it's too far from what really happened. Even Xavi doesn't have such brilliance to do something like that.
Traore was running from the left, Martinez was also making a run (I think the pass was meant for him). Aquilani is looking at them and the pass was definitely for one of them.
Just see the positioning of our players. It simply made no sense Aquilani to pass to Toni. It was a misplaced pass. Fortunately Aquilani hit the ball hard, which ended up excellent for us.
