Who do you guys think Ajax will try to acquire in order to replace Chivu, and how old is Pasanen?

According to vi.nl (a very good Dutch sportswebsite), Ajax are having talks with Julien Escudé. There were also rumours that Frank de Boer would return but he signed for Galatasaray this morning.

If Ajax want him to replace Chivu, he can't be bad.

I also assume that he is a vital player for Rennes, because they have rejected several offers from Ajax, saying that they were "embarassingly low."

Really? But if Roma can't pay, Chivu will return to Ajax. It said on their website something about a financial guarantee (?)

Better keep an eye on this

I don't remember exactly, but the bottomline was that Mexès is cheap for a defender of his quality. A bit like Kluivert, only Mexès int THAT cheap :D
