It just depends on what sort of system you want to run. If you prefer the 4-3-3, Aguero would probably be the better choice. If you want the moronic straight 4-4-2, Pastore doesn't fit.

 Is there even a reason to pose such a question? Aguero is miles ahead of Pastore. Not even close!
It's pretty close, actually.

Pastore really does ooze class at times.

However, agreed with Dule90, Aguero would be more fitting for us at the moment.

I don't see where Pastore fits if we stick to the current system.

Aguero is a much better player as between those 2 Aguero is surely the pick
BUT as someone here said we should work on our defence first as this is the main reason why we finished low 2 seasons in a row
So defence first then a LW and then Aguero (and Aguero is one of my favourite players)
I rather have a scudetto contender team without Aguero than finish without a CL spot with Aguero (altough winning with Aguero sounds the best)

he can be the SS.
Yeah maybe he can, but I think his best position would be a pure attacking midfielder in a 3 man midfield.
His passing is so good that I'd like to see him getting played deeper one day.

So who would be the squad player should Aguero arrive? Quagliarella or Matri?

Why does everyone think Gio is coming back? He said he wants to stay in Parma and even if we throw Amauri at them for free, I think they know how sweet of a deal it is to have half of Gio, the guys value is only going to appreciate, he fits and he's happy.

Quagliarella. Matri would start with Aguero.
