If by playing well you mean, defended well and had two keepers who made good saves then 6ab3an. Otherwise, I was disappointed with the route one football i saw tbh. and people say how come Salah doesn't score in Afcon. The guy is made to chase second and long balls. 3ayzeeno ye3mel ei ya3ny?

I mean defended well and had a decent amount of chances but were let down by our frontline except Salah who created more than 4 chances and wasn’t provided anything unfortunately.
It all depends on expectations I guess but this could be our best match in like 5-6 years, long gone are the days of 2006-2010.

This Egypt team actually sucks ass, but they're somehow riding their luck and getting key contributions at the right moments. It wouldn't surprise me if they actually win the whole thing.

    Haha i agree man.

Poor football on display in both knockout games i watched. I guess, the defending is quite solid, and the 2 keepers(who are now injured) pulled off some great saves. But there is no build up, or discernible style of football going forward. I feel really bad for Salah, because he chases long balls and second balls all game. But tbh, he is still a clutch player, that if he has the ball at his feet in the final third can always make things happen.

I think if Egypt defends well against Cameroon, its always possible to steal a goal. But with Hegazi out and the two keepers, i think it might be too many absences. Lets see!
