    #2 no question for me.

3 and 4 are just trying too hard, to get stuff on it you'll never need. They make you look like a wannabee adventurer, or someone who buys a supercool car to get the groceries and drop off his kids. Bottom line: it's just too much show off. but that's just my opinion.

A nice watch is something you can keep all your life. I have a nice Omega myself, which I got for my 16th birthday. I don't wear it too often, but it's real nice to take it out of for the special occasions.
common everyone needs a helium release valve for when you're going 250-300m underwater!!!!! :D

    point taken though

yea, my wrist isn't that huge, i once had a 45mm watch and i thought it looked too big, i'd say 41mm is the biggest i like to go, so the seamaster is fine for that, i guess stretching to the 42mm wouldn't be so bad, but if i bought the po i would want the chronograph version of that, and that is definately more expensive noticably
The chronograph comes only in 44.5mm .

And you gotta have the helium valve, trade mark of a sea master :D What kind of bracelet do you want? Leather/rubber or steel?

steel! i don't mind leather but we're not talking about a deville here, i think seamasters looks best steel, though i think the PO comes in a rubber version which is quite cool

I agree with you.. As I said before, personally I would go with the 2220.80 but then again I a biased some how. I was in your same position around a year and half ago and decided to go with the 2220.80 after a LONG search.

I am a big fan of watches. I can't see myself walking around not wearing a watch.

May I suggest some specific POs you should think about (I am not sure if I showed u these before or not its a bit late here and I am half a sleep lol). Those are all 42 mm.

If you are a die hard Bond fan or just like the look of it check out this one:
http://www.omega.ch/index.php?id=557&details=1&ref=22230462001001&no_cache=1 (NOTE: This one is 45.5mm according to the website)

If you are interested in a rubber check this out:
    http://www.omega.ch/index.php?id=557&details=1&ref=29015091&no_cache=1

and if leather look at this one:
    http://www.omega.ch/index.php?id=557&details=1&ref=29095082&no_cache=1

All should go more or less at the same price. Expect the first one to be a bit more expensive since its a limited edition or so I prosume.

If you travel alot check out this GMT:
    http://www.omega.ch/index.php?id=288&details=1&ref=25358000&no_cache=1

I advise you to stick with Co-Axial if you are buying an Automatic watch.

So have you reached to a decision yet ?
nearly, i'm more likely to get the 222080, even though i am still tempted by the aqua terra, i saw the chronograph seamaster for real and i'm not too keen on it, though i still do like option 3 (forget model reference)

so i guess i havnt, i'll have bought something in a week or so i guess

by the way, is co-axial much better than normal automatic, what is the difference?

Yes it is better. The differences are:
    1- Longer movement-free running time
2- More shock obserbing ability which reflects on the watch going into error because of increased shock.
3- More stable time error. Each automatic watch has an error fraction whether its low or high, the Co-Axial helps the watch to keep that error low and stable. Meaning if your watch gains a second every day Co-Axial tries to keep it 1s/day even if the wearing habits changes.
