Rabiot is a dumb player but asking for him to be replaced and us to put McKennie on the left…

If there was a dumb off between these two it would be quite a competition. The thought of McKennie on the left makes me sick. We really needed Goosens… maybe Pavel can come out of retirement, he’d offer more than Rabiot

He can't play that LM position imo, when he gets tired he simply switches off. Other than that he's not good enough in attack to cause any damage.
Play him either as LCM in 433 or DM in 4231 but please limit his role just like Bentancur's. Symmetrical formation will require less from him.

We really do need to book this guy in for a few sessions with Bonucci's motivational trainer.

Being locked in a dark room with a guy punching, personally insulting and blowing garlic flavoured sweets in his face would surely turn him into a beast of a player.

He was much spoken about by Allegri during his press conference today.

Allegri keeps saying, and it’s already the third or fourth time that he said this, that Rabiot should be a player who’s able to make goals. Before he said ~5 and now it was even more, around 10.

He also said that Rabiot should learn to do everything we actually already know, win more duels, arrive a bit earlier, be more aggressive etc.

Than there was the episode with Szczesny which we already know.

Its really strange to see al those managers speaking highly about Rabiot. Pirlo did the same, always used to say ‘if Rabiot realizes how much talent he has’, and I remember even Sarri saying similar things. Rabiot probably had a easy time becoming a professional due to his strength at youth levels, probably was the kind of player who didn’t needed to give everything in order to become one of the best players of his teams. Now honestly he reminds me of that guy at work we all have. When the rest starts at 08:00, arriving 15 minutes earlier he’ll be the guy who arrives at 08:01. Then when work starts he’ll be the guy who gives 70%, just enough to avoid complaints but he’ll never be the guy who puts in the most effort. Something has to change drastically at mental level but I doubt someone will be capable of doing that. If anything he keeps getting the confirmation that he’s doing good, he continues to start for France and Juve so I doubt that he realizes this. Laziness is a natural thing for him.

basically allegri is trying to turn rabiot from a bumbling giant who can't hold the ball or bully players one one to a bulldozer on midfield. kind of like conte turned lukaku into a perfect targetman from a no technique and horrible first touch forvet.

it's interesting but i don't think rabiot is as motivated to improve as lukaku was

I dont know what to make of him anymore. I've always thought he would eventually settle and turn good understanding he joined after missing so much football.

Now I'm dumbfounded..I dont know whether it is just lack of motivation or he needs to join a league and team that better suits him. However in this kind of form that may only be in the A league which I still think he will get ass raped.

Allegri says he can score 5 or 10 goals...yet he has no interest in doing that and at first I thought maybe it was instructional from allegri but clearly it is not.

I'd seriously play him as regista. Let locatelli play that LCM role..he gave me a chubby playing that role under mancini in the euro. If rabiot can't make that work then bench him until his big contract ends and fuck him off.

Allegri needs to start being brutal with these free loaders. It's ok to protect his players in front of the media but behind the scenes start getting cunty as Paulie Walnuts would say.

Haven't seen much of Serie A this season but sad to see Allegri repeatedly picking Rabiot in the starting 11. Ideally there should've been a new signing but given the squad I prefer Ramsey or McKennie ahead of him.
Problem is Allegri also choose 4-4-2 formation and play him as LM.
See him being our LM is kind of defensive formation. He just there to fill space. No edge for dribble, cross as LM. We need to play a natural LM or play 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 and play a natural LW there
