Adrian Mutu, father of new born Adriana
Adrian Mutu, the player of Juventus Torino and the national team of Romania on Sunday became father for the second time, as his wife Consuelo gave birth to a girl in a clinic from Miami.
On Sunday, around 2 PM in Miami, Consuelo delivered a girl, 3,040 kg and 49 cm long, who is called Adriana.
Adrian Mutu assisted at the birth, and he was the one who cut little Adriana’s umbilical cord, after the doctors allowed it .
A month ago, Consuelo left for the United States of America, to give birth in a private clinic from Miami, where his father is a shareholder, and the delivery happened almost one week after the estimated time.
The young family gathered thanks to Romania’s team tournament in Chicago and Los Angeles, and when it ended, the footballer, accompanied by his mother, left to Florida.
Out of the wish to be close to his wife as soon as possible, Mutu had a state of nervousness, which led to a conflict with coach Piturca, and eventually the player of Juventus was excluded from the team.
The two parents will spend few more weeks in the United States, and they will go to the Dominican Republic, where the godfather Nicu Gheara will baptise Adriana, before Mutu returns to Juventus, on July 15.
Consuelo Matos Gomez and Adrian Mutu married in Rome, in October 2005. Mutu has another son, Mario-Alexandru, three and a half year old, from his first marriage to Alexandra Dinu, whom he divorced in 2004.
