Where the hell can I get a pair ?! I've searched all over the internet, I'm looking for a pair of the Czech Republic upper f50.7s in size 12 (US). I've only found one site that even carries them anymore (prodirectsports or something in england), but not in that size. Any ideas where I can get them?

    You think I'm that stupid ? :D

Just kidding, thanks but I've literally searched every single back corner random thai-slave employing soccer site I could find on the internet, and all I found was an english site called Pro Direct Soccer who only had them in sizes up to 9.

I should've got them back when soccer.com had them, I remember I kept looking at them thinking "its alright ill get them next month" :wallbang:

They are Tunit, but they're customized for the Czech Republic with various things like the flag and prague bridge on the heel

I assume they're closed so I sent an email and I'll call in the morning.

Honestly, why would you want it? Tunits might be very durable, I'll give them that, but all in all they feel chunky and weird. And I'm not even talking about the price.

It's a birthday present for somebody. It's 90% to do with the fact they're distinctly czech, he's got plenty of normal football boots.

    Personally I definitely prefer predators.

Predators are much better indeed. Though I must say I'm still hooked to the Mania for some reason. When my pair eventually broke I searched online stores till I finallly got a new one. I adored the Copa Mundial, but they offer so little protection that I didn't dare playing in them after my ankle injury. Same reason I'm skeptical about the v1.06.

Do you tape your ankles Andries? I've always had weak ankles (broken them a copule of times :weee:), but if I use those one-size-fits-all ankle braces, my feet start burning up after about 30 minutes, so I have to do without.

I want to protect the ol' joints, but I'd prefer not to have to manually wrap up my ankles with a roll of tape before every game.

How do you get flexible if you tape them? Doesn't that really impair your agility?

I've got an ankle brace and I used it for quite some time to train with. My ankle ligament fully recoverd now though. For games I let the physician tape my ankles as it still offers a bit more protection and I feel more comfortable in it. I also did some exercices to train my ligaments and they've had some effect.

Hey, it's always better if you can do without. It impairs your agility, but not that much you can't play with it. TBH I hardly notice it, if done right you should be able to do just about every move involved in football. Tape is supposed to guide your ankle and prevent it from twisting the wrong way. I do think you can tell who plays with tape and who doesn't though. Feet look a lot more ligned up.

    u play at a club?
Beh, nothing great though. Something like 7th division in Belgium. I played 5th last year, which is a lot tougher. Thing is, between the 5th and the 3d the difference isn't that big IMO. Some guy who used to play with me on the team was now transferred to a 2nd divison team and is becoming a pro, so that shows you how fast things can go. Countries such as Italy and Belgium seem to have a lot of minor league clubs that pay their players, hence the physician. I don't know what it's like in other countries. I think most people can become good players if they really want to. Had I been willing to train every day, I think I could have played 2nd division, because up till there it's not the talent that always makes the difference.

It's not a job obviously. I still study anyway. I'm not earning a lot of money with it this season as the team isn't doing well. On my previous team we earned more. The guy that earned the transfer IS a pro now though.
