I told you previously he lost his eyes in two later battles for Islam. When Prophet Mohammad died, Abu Sufyan was his representative in Najran, now a city in South Saudi Arabia close to Yemen. His son, Muaweya, became a Khalefa later, and his son, Yazeed, was one of the skillful military leaders at that time. He died in Medina when he was in his 80s.

Nothing else was mentioned about him in history books.
Thank you a lot Rebel for your answers, but my question still stands.

please tell me exactly what you want. Do you want to know if he was poor or rich when he died? If he was clean or dirty?:shifty:
I have a good reason for asking that question :D
You did your best and I thank you. You don't have to bother with me and my question anymore. Now I just ask back the others the question that I was asked and I didn't know the answer for.... simply: In what state did Abu sufyan die?

Actually, it's not telling me anything about his state at the time of his death :)
Why is this of any importance? He died as a sick 90 year old man who lost both of his eyes, not importance to that. More vital the big role he played in fighting and then spreading Islam as a warrior and pragmatic political leader of a powerful merchant clan. I would say his biggiest influence is setting up such a power structure that meant his sons and grandsons could form the Ummayad Dynasty (huge as empire, later re-starting in Spain after being ousted by Abbasids century later).

P.S Nevermind, I just realised your question is a knee-jerk one :D And not a serious one.

It's a serious question.
You're all telling me about his life and as I already said, I know what's there is to know about his life. I want to know about his state when he died. Altair asked me the same question so i'm guessing he already knows the answer.

It is a touchy subject and that's why I beg to differ.

They are loosing the respect for each other (if there's any left) the more this conversation goes on and it's pretty clear. They might not be insulting that will lead to perma bans as they are all fairly reasonable but it's how they pick on each other and laughing at them, showing how ignorant they are. This sort of topic leaves consequences because it's not something you will forget, it's how you'll see certain members in different light. This goes on, you think less of them, even if they might not agree, it's how it goes. I'm pretty sure there's a bloodboil going on between Deneb and Alen/Hoori, Hoori and Ze. I find it sad that this sort of topic will do that, when we're all on a football forum. This is like having 5 Andries that don't want to get banned.
you are acting like an emo again, those things won't happen. I talk shit about every religion, and disrespect all the prophets yet, I don't have any problems with the religious guys. I am sure none of the members you mentioned think the way you do.

Stop with the emo thing already, you're getting boring with it. I'm not crying over anything, I was serious.

You are always joking but they don't and they can take it too far when it comes to that sort of topic. They can think whatever they want, I've mentioned how they shouldn't take that too far and insult or mock each other because of the subject.

Why?

And who insulted the other here?

I feel like spanking your ass. Stay quiet hungry kid.

On a serious note, nothing will go far nor anyone will cross the limit unless he/she tends for it, then it will be different story.

I wanted you to come out and say that.

Na, I was serious asking the question. Who did insult the other here? I for one didn't feel insulted at all.
I said what I meant. how they shouldn't take that too far and insult I never said there were insults.

I told Deneb yesterday when he asked me.

Sometimes you go too far. Go back and read, you will see arrogancy. Even if you think someone might be wrong, you don't need to insult somebody's knowledge and if you think it's a false argument, beat it, don't laugh at it where you actually want to 'humiliate' the other one.

He didn't mind it. Now I come out as the bad guy.

But whatever, you can continue.

I know you are not crying :D but you are concerned about our feelings a lot, no one is hating each other for this, be sure. come here give me a hug :dule:

They didn't insult each other (well except that Mcrae ass, he is full of hatred), even if others did, shit happens, no big deal. And be sure no one is going to get banned for this.

Why do you keep asking this question? What's so interesting about it? :D

Well now you made me want to know the answer too.

Btw Alen, you quoted what shia's said about Abu Sufyan earlier, and if he was a real muslim or not, and them pretty much painting him in worst possible manner, they are not a good source to say the least due to certain circumstances :D
