Good move. Hope we make it permanent. Good for the club and for the player. Milan have turned out to be surprisingly decent folks :D

Hopefully abbiati wont choke for us on purpose- perhaps its a ploy by milan to get us to start leaking goals? ;)

no way imo that could happen....
he wants to impress everyone especially lippi.. so that he could be recalled to the italian NT...
and also he is getting paid by juventus to perform...

Well I diin't expect less from Milan considering that one of their players is the reason that Gigi is out :groan:

And I know he didn't mean it, but he still was responsible!!

About the move... I would have prefer Pagliuca, but it was a dream to get him, so I guess Abbiati is good enough for 4 months...

Hey man i wanted cudicini for juve that was mah dream but i guesse abbiati will do for a couple of months. Just imagine this though. He plays for Juve in CHamps league for the first round and maybe quaters. He goes back to milan and dida gets injured and they make it to the final aswell wouldnt that be hilarious they would have to use some no name goalie lol

TBH, that wouldnt be a problem at all for them, they werent counting on Abbiati for this season anyways. Thats why they brought Kalac.

I hate to say I told you so, but

I TOLD YOU SO!!!
Should we have marked your words?

Anyway, I still think we could've done better. I would've loved Pagliuca or Peruzzi.

This is getting to be a regular thing. You may want to make it your sig. ;)

I'm happy with the choice. Sure, we could have tried to land Pagliuca, etc., but we need a solid backup here more than a regular starter. This fits the bill for budget, etc.

What the hell? I would have never expected Milan to do us a favor such as that...probably something else we do not know about included in the "deal."

Anyway, I have not seen Abbiati play in quite some time. I hope he is still the Abbiati that impressed me before Dida came into the scene. If not, we could be in trouble. Better than playing Chimenti though.

Abbiati has been rusty for Milan... and they had to be giving him the boot for a reason. We can't forget that much. But we do know he was once capable. I just hope that translates to motivation on his part to kick some %#$ and prove everyone wrong about his "demise".

I'm a little suspect of any Burlesconi "favors" either myself. e.g., maybe he's doped up and that's his way of sending us a Trojan horse. ;)
