Aaron Ramsey won’t terminate his contract with Juventus, but the former Arsenal star remains on the market and Juventus are willing to sell him in January.
Ramsey joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer in 2019, but has been struggling with injuries during his time in Turin.
La Gazzetta dello Sport and Calciomercato.com reported that Juventus are considering terminating his contract in January, but this is not an option, according to Goal.com’s Romeo Agresti.
According to the report, there have been no contacts between Juventus and the player’s entourage about the matter and terminating Ramsey’s contract is not a realistic option at this stage.
The Wales international has only played five games under Massimiliano Allegri this season, but his €7m-a-year contract makes it difficult for the Old Lady to find suitors willing to sign him.
Ramsey’s agents also get €2.8-a-year from Juventus as part of the agreement reached in 2019.
The former Arsenal man remains on the market and the Serie A giants hope to sell him in the winter transfer window to lower their wage bill and make room for a new midfielder.
That's insane.
