keeps that annoying Dolan thread at bay. :p For those burning questions that you don't feel like opening up a whole thread for.

Today's topic: Best villain of all time, and why? Discuss, I will post a new topic at this time tomorrow, or you can.

Overall efficacy? Scare factor? Badass-ness? Comic Relief? Fiction or Non-fiction?

Specify :D

Also its relatively easy to avoid the Dolan thread with this in the title: "(stay out if you don't like it)"....I've never looked in it.

I swore I wouldn't do this one out of the main thread for it but if we're going for the catagories i stated...Look no further than the old testament Abrahamic God: Murdered Millions (going into the specifics makes it scarier), Wiped out earth because people weren't paying attention, damned humanity for all time for eating a piece of fruit. His laws are bonkers (comic-relief), he acts mysteriously, plans on destroying earth in the future and damning everyone again that didn't pay attention to him (one wonders if when that one happens if the next lot of humans will write about it - like with Noah)

And to make it perfect we can't come to a consensus on his existence allowing him to fit perfectly into all categories. :weee:

Mine would have to be Q. And because I could not be bothered to rewrite: Q is a villain from Star Trek who is depicted as rogue member of the Q Continuum - a society of godlike aliens who are nearly omnipotent by human-standards.

Anyway he wasn't evil in the traditional sense, but rather he just manipulated for his pleasure, because he could.
