Im just glad I didnt goto the match. I was trying to get hold of some away fan tickets but failed to. I think ive certainly learnt one thing from here and could proove to be useful advice not only to me but also other english based juve fans. Never talk up your teams chances, especially when they play against english opposition.

Not too bad actually, they saw I was in no mood.

My boss, the Arsenal fan, has Wednesdays off, so tomorrow I will kop a load of shit.

    What about you, got teased?
not teased exactly, but found myself having to explain our inept performance to everyone time and time again. They simply could not fathom how we can be easily clear in one of the best leagues in the world yet play so awfully every time we're on telly in the CL.. which is fair enough I guess

btw watching Inter and Milan at times tonight, I'm actually going green with envy at how they actually know how to pass a ball about.. ridiculous really that we're talking about such basic skills in such light but thats the way i see it. We cannot play football.

Well Tom, you certainly called that one. No imagination, no creativity, no shots on goal. Lehman could have stayed in the dressing room for all we troubled him. I did think Camo put in a decent effort before his idiotic sending off, but when 8 men play like they are asleep, you deserve to lose.

Not to mention Lyon, which plays the way I would like us to play. And Diarra, everything people think Vieira is, Diarra is for real.

Yes Diarra made good job against Milan. He disapeared Kaka yesterday and he made good feeds to the strikers. He makes noiseless work like Zambrota.

Yes, I mean you can get away with one or two no-shows, but from the outfield players, only Cannnavaro and Zambrotta looked class acts. The others looked the sort of players you find in the pub league on a sunday morning, just a totally uninspired, uninterested performance, sickening to the bone of every true juventus fan.

Martin, I agree completely, though I imagine if we did sign Diarra we would probably ruin his career completely and turn him into another emerson incapable of anything remotely creative, fast or interesting. We need to change our club's philosophy on european football before we win anything other than more tainted scudetti.

My Arsenal supporting boss finally caught up with me this morning, after some general piss taking, he left me with one sad comment: 'and you're the best team in Italy?'

I truly hope the insular offices of Torino are hearing word of this...

Losing is one thing. Fine. But at least try to play with some level of dignity and self-respect like you might actually belong in the tournament.

Like not getting a red card in the 86th minute. Fucking retarded.

I's like to say that we have a surprise for him in Turin, ala the 3-1 ass whipping we gave to Real Madrid a couple seasons back, but sadly I only see another 0-0, ala Juve-Liverpool of last season.

wow, you're being way too nice

We will play the same kind of game, and get beat once again 2-0 or 2-1, with Arsenal killing us on the counter

the good news is that we will manage 2 or 3 shots on net, as compared to zero in the first leg

Arsenal will score, possibly first and when that happens the tie is dead, incase anyone had any last doubts. All I ask is that the team restores some pride so I can hold my head up high on Thursday.
