Come to think of it you are right. But atleast he should get a motherboard with an 800FSB for future upgrading.

Yeah I guess so.. upgrading is more complex than one might assume, last time I had to replace my motherboard, cpu and memory all at once, old mem wouldn't go with the new board, even though the sales people insisted they would (very small discrepancy between the specs).

Upgrading your CPU, mobo and RAM isn't all that drastic... most hardcore gamers and the like get new everything (graphics cards, new cooling systems, etc.), and while they're upgrading their essentials, they decide on overhauling their cases, getting LED's and whatnot

No, it's not really that high, just a shelf thingy sitting on top of my desk. Besides, I hardly change CDs anyway (images, my friend )

I have to change the mouse batteries every....5 weeks? I use the keyboard for months and it doesn't run out.... maybe every 3 months or something? Not quite sure at all...As for the mouse's (relatively) shite battery life, this is only because the stupid thing doesn't sleep when it's inactive, it flashes the annoying red light 24/7, and at first I couldn't get to sleep... but it grew on me, and if my batteries are out of the mouse charging (i invested in 6 rechargeable AA batteries, 4 for the kb 2 for the mouse) and the red light's not flashing, i almost feel as if something's missing. Same goes with the 'hum' of my computer (since i leave it on 24/7) :geek::geek::geek:




I love my camera's timer I'd hate to have to explain to a family member why i want a photo of myself reaching upto my cd tray...

Oh, the yogo magnet things come with yogo...just incase u dunno what yogo is, it's a delicious chocolate yoghurt-y type thing, and for a while it came with magnets that I assume are photo frames, but i haven't yet been bothered to print out photos of my lady to put up there...

:LOL: my mouse would flash the red thing too, until I got the usb port working properly in Linux and started using usb in both windoze and linux. The PS/2 port is soooo old.
