I'm checking out the opposition tonight on Rai 2, the friendly between Inter & Partisan Belgrade, & though I don't have a lot of love for Inter as a club, I do respect some of the players. I'm curious to see how David Suazo will do having been with Cagliari so long & now finally getting the chance with a big club. The answer is as I thought, promising so far. Ibrahimovic scored, 18 mins, subbed 27 mins, Julio Cruz on. Inter look quite sharp so it will be as well for us if we face them in the coming August friendlies with a positive attitude!

addition: I prefer the Italian "triangolo" tournament friendlies. Each of the 3 teams plays the other, once, over 45 mins meaning that they all play a full 90 mins & we get 135 mins of competitive football to watch because each team has to be competitive. Tonight was so typical of many "normal" friendlies where only the 1'st half was of any consequence because of so many 2'nd half substitutions. Finished 1-0 Inter.

When I first read about the friendly with HSv, I thought this is perhaps one of the clauses for VDV's capture? or the very least getting a first hand look at who we're really interested in.

I mean, this friendly wasn't scheduled and yes it seems odd that Juve would make such an inconvenient trip to Germany during their English friendlies.

I hope VDV is one of the reasons for this trip.

I am sure the board have VdV in their mind but the guy made it clear that he is stayin this season with Hamburg but that he might leave next summer!! I dont think we have any chance to get him this season,I hope we do it next season coz this guy is a huge talent & he can change the way we play!!

But my father has promised me that this season we will go and see Milan-Juve :weee:
i once saw juve playe live as well, 2 years ago against messina when del piero scored and dribbled 2 ppl (as always) and juve won the match 1-0

my father promised me as well that i could watch a match this coming season , dont go to milan-juve, go to inter-juve instead

I went to see them at Anfield when Liverpool beat them 2 - 1.

I had to sit by myself with thousands of liverpool supporters singing and chanting 'Who Are Ya' 'Who Are Ya' everytime Juve touched the ball.

I hope Juventus impress this time and cleans their image after yesterday´s bitter defeat.

Time to switch back to 4-4-2, something like this:

--------Palladino--------Trezeguet------------

Nedved-------Tiago/Almiron----Nocerino------Marchionni/Brazzo

Chiellini------Criscito--------Andrade--------Zebina/Grygera

------------------Buffon-----------------------
