1) She's told to.
2) She's protecting her civilian ass from being the easiest lynching target.
Smart play either way.
No its not, all 3 options are dumb to do right now.
1.if she is told as G this is the dumbest move ever unless she is minutes from being lynched, it's the slow hour 's of the first day, MO votes on you, basically gives bullseye suspicious attention to yourself when you might as well post low key like most Gs do in the beginning .
2.As a normal C, to claim you are special role is dumb to lie, it doesn't get you out of tight spot for long since it has risk to be exposed (if you are forced to say what special role you are days from now, and real special role exposes you) , especially dumb when you aren't in tight spot to begin with, there is no danger right now, even more so when she implied this in her first post to Alen, random timing. Only thing it makes make her suspicious for me when she was clean slate like everyone else at that point.
3. It's true. You are actually a special role civilian, and you told everyone in the first hours of the first day, for no reason whatsoever (one thing of you said you are BG, but even then too app ). You know the only thing it can accomplish? Being whacked.
So no this isn't smart...
