What laptop did you buy? I need to buy one. I want a Vaio but I wanna get a good deal on it!

I got a Dell 8600. The thing has an extra wide screen among other nice accessories, along with a very fast Pentium M Processor. The computer costs $2000, but comes with a free printer. I will also get a wireless router system, which will hook up my computer and Playstation 2. I'll be able to use them anywhere in my house. I can't wait.

The Vaio I want had

1.6 Processor (the wireless one because I get to have wireless internet at BU )
80GB of hard drive
512MB of memory

And I dont remember the rest but it was like $1,700

Im still not sure about it... because I know I could get the same stuff cheaper if it wasnt a Vaio...

Yeah they have wireless connection at Penn State as well.

Those aspects of the Vaio are basically the same as my Dell, but I think my Dell is quicker because it has the Intel Centrino Technology for wireless activity, as well as that M processor. I like Dells.

But for a laptop, $1700 is not a bad price at all.

Yeah, I ordered it from Dell online. I was able to customize it nicely to my own likings. Its the way to go for computers nowadays. I'm sure I'll be happy with it.
