The point was that we are years away from needing new starters in those positions. We only need a new starting RB in a couple of years and the decision to sign Alves would be actually better for the youth in that position because it would give Lirola possibly the chance to break trough opposed...

We already have two young guys around in Rugani and Alex Sandro plus Bonucci is still young enough so we are only RB away from having our first choice defense for the next six years in place.
