    Roberto Baggio

I know what you're saying, Baggio isn't just some normal player, but isn't the whole point of a farewell game to close a player's career with dignity. It's like when you leave a party and you make a grand exit, then come back for your keys. The next time you exit the door, people hardly even say...

Okay I don't know because I wasn't there obviously, but I heard that a lot of Italians turned against him because they needed a scapegoat for their failure to win the WC. My mistake

It was anything but downhill after 1994, Baggio totally re-established himself despite being one of the most hated men in Italy after USA '94. The guy even had the nerve to take another penalty at France '98, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Sign all the petitions you want, Baggio's not going to Portugal. Sorry to bust your bubble. More powerful than any petition is every single journalist in Italy begging Trap to include Baggio in the Euro 2004 squad, and if that didn't work, nothing will.

IMO Jordan should have retired after the 1998 season. That clutch jumper in Game 6 against the Jazz would've been a perfect way to end his NBA career. I'm just hoping Baggio doesn't come back and play not-as-great like Jordan with the Wizards

If Baggio doesn't retire at the end of this season, I think it'll be an anticlimax. After all the 'swansong' matches and celebrations, it would make it that much less special. Much like Michael Jordan after the ridiculous stints at baseball and the Wizards

Actually you can find jerseys for a lot of big European clubs, but it pisses me off when I see Milan, Arsenal, Liverpool, Inter etc... yet no Juve :fero: Jerseys aren't so hard to obtain (apart from the price), but it's more the other little merchandise bits and pieces like scarves, caps etc...
