Don't forget to count outgoing transfers in that, I see a lot of players leaving:
Kovac, Boum, Oliveira, Miccoli, Tacchi, Kapo, Trez, Camo won't all stay, Balza already left and I might even forget a few players.
DD opted for an experienced front line since all teams played defensively against us.
Bojinov might get his chance in the next matches but I guess we can say goodbye to him.
Didn't say that did I?
I said we won't be able to create a team yet to challenge for the scudetto but appearently it is to hard for some to understand, you guys just dream about winning the scudetto next season, but get ready to have a nightmare.
yes, their 60 years of experience (counted togheter) will bring us the cl spot next season, no need for other players if that is the ambition, you are correct.
:wallbang:
Let us just fire/sell all the other players and take the cl spot with those two.
thanks for the compliment but I prefer realistic fan instead of that.
Maybe your target is, but I think the majority will be pleased if we can challenge for a CL spot in the first season back.
Everyone here seems to forget one thing, the players we are linked with (f.e. Huntelaar) also need to be interested in joining seeing the circumstances we will have next season:
1) No European football in a European championship season.
2) Not likely to challenge for the Scudetto
Then...
:agree: not mentioning Ibra has the age advantage.
Iaquinta is a decent signing, not world class, but for 8M euro, a decent signing.
I just don't think he is signed as a bench warmer so I fear Trez will be leaving now that we (most likely) have signed Iaquinta and then we surely are...
If this is true, then what will happen?
Will Trez leave, will we give up on Huntelaar?
The deal itself isn't so bad, 8MEuro + a loan deal isn't so bad if he can re-find his form of 2 years ago.
We will see in a few days how true the rumour is, but I prefer Huntelaar.
Old rumour coming back:
Juve close on Iaquinta Thursday 10 May, 2007

Juventus are close to signing Udinese striker Vincenzo Iaquinta, according to the latest reports in Italy.
The world champion had...
