The EPL was the undisputed king between 2007-2009. The Messi and Ronaldo era allowed the Spanish teams to take over. However, unless those sort of calibre seek out Real or Barcelona due to their history, it is likely the EPL will continue to dominate. Money talks at the end of the day.

Their victories felt organic though.

Ronaldo won him those CL. Problem is now Ronaldo is surrounded by trash players and the worst coach we've ever had.

He was bound to reach their eventually with the amount of money he had. Europe has also weakened since the Covid. 1 final in a decade is hardly fantastic and he has been out against teams who were clearly inferior, Tottenham and Lyon.

The new CL format looks awful. Seriously I tend to think football needs a reboot of some sort. Wage caps, limit on transfer budgets etc and let teams grow organically again.

The current PSG and Chelsea coach had been available lol but we stuck with the mighty Pirlo!
