Jeez Bürke, remind me of this:D I forgot. 21 to young? There is no average soldier. Don't know how to tell. We are ashamed and in fear that this is part of us and that it could happen again. So there is nothing we want to celebrate. We more think about it of something that warns us...

We don't remember the veterans, at least not in the way you remember them. We are just happy that they are dead and can't do it again.

Armistice Day is 11th November? That's St Martin and Carnival season opening here:D VE Day was celebration day in the DDR but not anymore, no celebration at all, just a day to remember.
