I'd sign Dzeko or Llorente because I consider them both excellent players. I wouldn't, for instance, sign Cardozo or anyone else or a lower standard just because they are a CF. Even if no CF was bought, I'm still not entirely convicned Juve would be better signing Jovetic than signing no-one...

Yeah, he probably is worth getting on for 30m, broadly speaking. However, he's not worth 30m to Juve, because they are already well covered in that position and need a different kind of player.

Can't see Juve getting Jovetic at this point.

:boh: As things stand I wouldn't think they need to sell as they already sold Behrami and Gamberini to Napoli. A couple more signings of some value and I'll start to think they may be budgeting for selling Jovetic this summer.

I don't completely distrust what is said, but people take the gurus too seriously. I think they are often right about who Juve are considering/talking too, but it's silly to believe most of that claims of 'done deals'.

I think it depends on what you understand from these things. Nick often presents it as meaning a contract has been provisionally agreed. I just tend to assume it means Juve have had a quiet word with the player to make sure they aren't completely wasting their time spending weeks/months...
