I'm still peeved several years later about how Metal Gear Solid 4 practically had movie-length cutscenes. It was ridiculous, ruined the game for me and I never actually finished it.

True that, top quality graphics are nice and I appreciate them in a game, but they're secondary to story and gameplay IMO. Just look at the games we played when we were kids, we were able to survive back then without extremely realistic HD graphics. What happened to just being entertained?

Eh, probably won't pick it up for a while regardless. I just started gaming again after taking a break from it for a while, so I'm first going to play stuff I've missed out on during that time.

For me, I prefer playing games on a console, I like the feeling of just relaxing on my couch with a controller. Yeah, I know you can connect your PC to your TV & use a controller as well but it's not the same to me. Besides, consoles last several years on the market, with a PC your graphics card...
