Doesnt them words remind you of our former french monk? who despite not being a hard ball winner seemed to do enough magic to make the biggest of differences in games? :eyebrows:
The temper issue I would agree, his more of a unhappy moaner than a person that would get angry. However I would consider his compatriot Quaresma over him. His a way better player than him and wouldnt cost more than ronaldo.
 true, but somehow i prefer the days before that, we almost became a little too reliant on Zizou and DP, with davids getting sent off in the big games.. the days prior to that with Rava, Viali, Jugo, Torri, Di livio.. was just brilliant.
Lets face it, if we win the league then we certainly wont buy as many players as mentioned earliar. I see a maximum of 4-5 players coming thats all. We have already got Marchionni, Zanetti, and possibly Antonioli. That means we will bring in someone in defense and possibly if lucky a playmaker...

Riquelme: Sad, but staying (Skysports)
By Phil Jackson - Created on 28 Apr 2006
Villarreal's Juan Roman Riquelme is still suffering after his UEFA Champions League penalty miss, but says he is going nowhere.
The Argentine, who missed a...
I dont know what match you guys were watching but I was impressed with this guy, he doesnt deserve to be at a club like villareal, he managed to put up with some of arsenals midfield strength and TBH he wasnt to be blamed for the penalty he was unlucky it was a good save by lehman. I said it...
Not exactly his always moving to the middle to let someone like davis or o'neil to pop up on the left. His prooven to be a good prospect behind the strikers at river too..
That formation may work, but certainly not always, the bottom line is no matter who we bring we need to allow them players to play in a variety of positions so that the manager can change the formation at ease.. although that may be asking a lot from our current clown of a manager.
Well thats what Il Re said on post #57 Page 3. I forgot to ask him his actual sources but I feel he may be right.. its not exactly villareal is a small club anymore.
Yes we hired him and yes noone was really proberly complaining simply because there wasnt too much of a need to rotate the system at the early part of the season.. but as time went on it was obvious that he should have started it after all they are all friggen only players what more they are old...
hmm thats possibly true, how old is deco by the way?. Theres only one worry that I have with him, will he be as loyal with us and also will he fit into serie A. Actually thats more than one :D
I think its debateble and in a way they are different type of players and play in different positions. Messi is moreover a midfielder whilst Aguero is a forward (DP type). Messi is no doubt younger than him. However Aguero is playing for independiente whilst messi has already shown he can play...
Every penny worth it too.. I cant see him worth any more than £10 mil, yes his big and a shining prospect but get him now before theres regret, (especially before the worldcup). I personally would love to have him at Juve, Ive raved about this guy and his skills for months.. but somehow in a...
Palacio isnt an attacking midfielder, aimar fairly injury prone and helb overrated at the moment yes his done well but TBH arsenal as a team are all doing so well that u could prolly stick zebina in their team and he will be a world class star. At the moment ive ran out of attacking midfielder...
