    [Serie A] Chievo 0-0 JUVENTUS (16th October, 2011)

Who were they supposed to cross to? Most of the time the only option seemed to be Vucinic and four Chievo defenders and besides, Vucinic doesn't have any physical presence in those situations. He's no lone striker. Even if he played well against Milan he didn't find himself in scoring positions...

Technically Chievo are better than all those team except for Napoli. Our crossing was really not as bad as its being said. It wasn't good but it wasn't bad either. What made it look bad is that no one was connecting with any of them. Matri needs to play whether it be in the 4-2-4 or 4-1-4-1...

    [Serie A] Chievo 0-0 JUVENTUS (16th October, 2011)

Conte needs to learn the difference between tactical inadequacies and poor mentality. A half time speech was probably never going to turn this team around. He needed to make his changes much sooner. At least our defense held up today but now hopefully he learns that Vucinic is no lone striker...

It doesn't matter if we have deficiencies on our bench because Vidal can play every role on the field according to Claudio Borghi.

No doubt. Why would you not field the best team possible? The one that beat the current Italian champions should play. It produced arguably our best performance so far this season. I will never understand this habit of playing a worse side against worse teams. Aussie friends. Time of this game?

Marotta has a habit of wasting millions of euros every summer.

A fit and on form Quag would be perfect for the 4-1-4-1 system :klin:

I did and I noted that but I don't like that we leave the goal scoring up to our midfielders. That system will lose us points some time. We dominated possession in our attacking half and Vucinic only managed one or two real opportunities on goal. If he plays he should be assisting a player that...

Matri please. He knows how to put the ball in the back of the net unlike Vucinic. Mirko's skill is nice, he links up well with midfielders making forwards runs and could make a lot of assists this season but he's no prolific goal scorer. What's the point in having wingers cross the ball or...

We should just play the formation we have played best in so far and that would probably be the 4-1-4-1 we played against Milan. Why would you want to play anything less than the best possible formation? Changing formation based on the quality of opponent is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

Word. We should just pick the best formation and persist with it unless it fails miserably and warrants some changes. I don't really get the formation for strong opponents and formation for weak opponents thing. If one line up is capable of dominating the leagues strongest teams then there's no...
