Just read on football365.fr that Trez denies signing a new contract. Kinda sick of reporting these half truths, they don't check out anyway. It was Gazzetta that carried the story in the first place, it seemed reluctantly. Now it's being denied again.. :groan:

For me it was like watching Senegal all over again, I was really concerned that they would mess up big time, which they almost did.

Trez was completely marked out, I don't think there is much else he could have done. However I am a little annoyed that he missed the one good chance he had. :lazy:

Yeah that's what I was thinking.. But had he signed an extension 2 years ago, it might not have been that long, maybe a raise and an extension until 2006 or 2007. In which case we could have offloaded him sooner, but now we're "stuck" with him longer.

Exactly, another Moggi f. up. If he had signed Trez 2 years ago I bet you the amount would have been much less. But instead he gambled on this for so long and now that the pressure really is on, he caved in and gave Trez just about the same Vieri would get. Moggi is really losing it..
