https://football-italia.net/dragusin-agent-napoli-tottenham-frustration/ Early days but already his agent stirring up shit. Next stop, Real Madrid.

DLC in a back three is not the same as DC in a back four. Alex Sandro is basically a DLC now as he can't run.

We wouldn't be able to afford the buyback clause anyway. :fab3:

It's what some clubs do. It's something that seems like a great idea but the buying club isn't going to want that buyback clause in, so it could break many deals. You could say that we could sell them all somewhere else but deals hinge on a few things. We don't have an absolutely dominant...

He isn't a left back though.

I'm not so sure. Don't forget how young he is by Serie A standards.

Did quite well in the previous two games, but suffered more in this game along with with rest of the defence. Audero has been shaky recently, which doesn't help.

Taking bad advice from an idiot agent. Kid thinks he has made it already.

I think it's impossible for him unless he has at least Italian grandparents (there is no indication of this), or he marries an Italian. Otherwise he'd have to live in the country for 10 years. So a nice story and overreaction by his agent but I doubt there's anything in it.

A relevant argument in any season other than this one.

The thought is that it's only a matter of time before he signs, but his agent is smart dragging it out now he has appeared in the first team squad so he gets better terms. I bet we were offering him something like €0.3m as an 18 year old rookie, but he might be offered half a million by Leipzig...

It's a mixture of things but ultimately Wesley needs to be awake to either deal with it or at least make the chance much more difficult. Chiellini and Demiral are marking one man between them (Scamacca), Dragusin blocks off Pjaca, so it leaves the right back area exposed. Really that defensive...

At least he'd get plenty of practice defending at ADO.

It's true that for many young players the breakthrough is about being in the right place at the right time. Some have to take the long way around to make it to the top but they tend to be the ones with the strongest mentality. I don’t think Giovinco ever had that, and maybe that was his biggest...

I agree that he was a good talent but just a weakling. I think many short players have that squat build with leg and core strength, but he never had it. Maybe he could have played at Parma forever and been a legend like Di Natale, but football is like that. He did well at Toronto and seems happy.

Only 17 clubs? I heard it was 37 clubs. Most of them probably in Serie B to take him on loan.

Gasbarroni was actually a considerable talent back then, he could have had 50+ Italy caps on potential but he ended up being a typical flimsy ex-talent. He had a touch of Del Piero about him. Chiumiento, Lanzafame etc never had his talent. Not even Giovinco, imo. He's just too lightweight. It's...
