They can i am 100% sure. Defensively a little bit worse than with Khedira, but Pjanic improved his defending skill a lot and Marchisio is defensively better than most think. (better than Pogba who did most of time fancy tackles).

Scoring goals from 'fieldplay' is maybe more fancy, but a goal is a goal. I don't give a fuck how we win the CL final. Scoring a corner or a beautiful attack. I don't care, if we win it's ok and if Pjanic contribute to that win he is good enough for Juventus.

He needs to step up in the field i agree, but he has already 5 goals and 6 assists, that's insane. He is a big part in our scoring ability and that is important enough to start him in big matches. He only needs to work on his defensive tasks and work-ethic.
