Has to be said, though, that all 3 goals were conceded in a 4 men defense formation, where in these situations the fullbacks take the position of a CB. In a 3 men defense another player would have covered Belotti/Bonaventura/Latte Lath inside the box instead of Lichtsteiner.

Serie A teams found the weakness in our defense, and that's Lichtsteiner. 3 of the last 4 goals we conceded, were scored with a cross from our left side, by a player covered by Lichtsteiner. Belotti for Torino, Bonaventura for Milan and yesterday the Atalanta kid. This has to be addressed...

Scoring against Parma became a tradition for him. He faced them 4 times in Juventus arena, and scored on 3 of those matches.

Numbers wise, this is his best season with 10 goals/assists. He had 6 last year and 5 the year before, despite playing much more back than compared to this year. As unpopular it would be to sell him, a good offer simply has to be considered. He indeed looks out of steam. Even when we signed him...

I think that Juve will consider offers for Licht. There aren't many fullbacks who last in that position when they enter their thirties. It's a position that requires speed and non stop running by the flank. I expect Licht to last for one or two more seasons, especially if Conte keeps giving him...

One of the rare, if not the only player from this team that would have started for pre-Calciopoli Juve. Not only because the RB was our weakest spot back then but also because (as someone said above) he's a typical Juve player from the Lippi/Capello era. Fulfills the expectations so far :tup:

I think that not a single danger came from the side that he defends and it's 5 matches already. He defends brilliantly, runs like mad and his 1-2 passes are excellent. Too bad his crossing is as it always was, shitty. But in our formation, with wingers and all, crossing shouldn't even be his job...

Well you are wrong. Motta's crosses are much more accurate than Licht's and that is practically the only good thing about Marco Motta.

That's gonna be tough at this point of his career. Watching him over the years with Lazio, I can tell you that occasionally he'll deliver an excellent cross, just as many times, maybe even more, he'll deliver a Molinarish bird killing cross, while the big majority of his crosses will be average...
