You will always find something so he'd be a 5.0. If he gets a WC RB and a replacement for Trez, you guys will ask for a world class 3rd keeper or something like that.

What about our mercato? We beat Chievo 1:0 with Diego assisting the goal. All three goals against Roma were scored by Diego and Melo. Caceres scores against Lazio, Cannavaro our best defender on both matches he played. Man of the 3 matches in the new season: Alessio Secco 10.00

It's just isn't meant for Del Piero and Diego to play together. :(

Ohh, great choice. Fred knows Bordeaux and he'll help the two of us a lot there with that knowledge.

And plus we were without Del Piero, Sissoko and we lost Diego at 0:0. Adding the NT players that were being given a rest, we won the match without Diego, Del Piero, Sissoko, Cannavaro, Zebina and Iaquinta. I think we just passed the squad depth test, don't you think? :)

Oh, and good job Ferrara. First of all, attacking after the lead is surely Ferrara's touch. There's no doubt about that. Replacing Camoranesi and switching Marchisio on the right was also an excellent choice. Actually, it was a match winning choice because Caceres wasn't going to be there and...

True, the moment Camo went out we saw a different Caceres. Sergio noticed it well in the Live thread because the moment Marchisio took over the right side and started protecting Caceres, the Uruguayan was able to go forward more often which resulted with one excellent cross, and a little later...

Btw, I think Grosso was good considering that this was the very first match (beh, how many trainings did he have with the team?) and it takes time for a good link up play. Still he was going up and down all the time, he knew how to use the free space and his passing (not crossing though) was...

:agree: We finally found back this characteristic of a great team. To win matches even when not playing very well. Marchisio was the MOtM for me. Excellent game. I especially liked it how he was later in the game given the task to protect the right side and help Caceres, and how he did it...

If the choice is both to play or both not to play, then i choose tha latter. We can beat Lazio without Del Piero, but Lazio without Zarate (+Pandev and Ledesma) won't beat us.

Dude, absolutely nothing will happen to you, don't worry. If you're that scared, than leave the hotel room earlier, pass that bridge and spend the remaining hours near Stadio Olimpico. Drink a coffee or something.

I'd prefer one of Dominic or Red, but those two bastards will surely find an excuse not to help me there. Dominic will say he needs to study while Red will probably watch Aberdeen. P.S: Anyone else who wants to follow the match with me in the LIVE thread? :P
