The dive is when player with intention want to simulate a penalty and then appeal for it. Del Piero didn't do any of that.

It's not all about service, look at his movement, look at his control of the ball (for exapmle, he lost every single ball against roma). He is so static, when midfielders want to pass the pall towards him, he is just staying like buried in one place.
