    Champions League 2019/20

@Osman That's exactly the thing. They kept the high-line as part of a game plan. I hope you do understand that? There was one (supposedly ex - mobile) CB playing anchor. I can't even make a relevant comparison. Bayern were never planning for a clean sheet.

    Champions League 2019/20

Alaba playing a CB, along Boateng vs Messi, Suarez and co. Nightmares stuff. Giorgio could've blundered that. Not only did they pick themselves up - they pretty much humiliated Barca, while playing a crazy high line. This is so impressive, I am still shocked. Though it is logical at the same...

    Champions League 2019/20

@BayernFan I have to disagree with you. I think your defense was top notch. They completely outplayed Barca's forwards to the point of frustration. If anything your attack could've finished more chances. IMHO your defenders and midfielders would have won the game with the B team upfront.

    Champions League 2019/20

That was a game worth the CL title alone. Bravo Bayern! Unless they were doped out of their mind the germans will win it this year.

    Andrea Pirlo

I feel its a safe bet. Pirlo would teach our midfielders to think a few steps ahead and most of them need it. If Tonali arrives with Arthur this summer we would have a midfield full of players that should be molded in the next few years and Pirlo is the guy to go to. I don't expect another...

    Antonio Conte

Don't want him back. I don't know what Inter did exactly, but its another shit-show and I don't think the chinese(or anyone else for that matter) will stand for it. I don't think Conte can complain, unless they were expecting him to win the CL next year.

    Summer Mercato Thread 2020-21

Until I see ADL spend some real cash and compete with other clubs for a player successfully I think Napoli should be our last option. We managed to milk even #wearerich Milan. Let's watch the drama regarding Lille's forward play out first. If some of our old junk doesn't want to leave Italy due...

I can see now why we dived for Arthur. Barcelona are finally going to fulfill their dream - be more than a club- that is if it was to be a bankrupted company. 1.9 B in debt after the Goldman Sachs deal - wtf! Forget about Deloitte paper valuations, I seriously doubt Barca and half their...

    Maurizio Sarri

Sarri stays, unless a monster manager is available or we show further regress in the seasons ahead. If Klopp, Guardiola or Zidane are available - change him immediately. There is no point in going back to Allegri - he had his time. Sarri should be given at least one more year - let's see how...

    Blaise Matuidi

Matuidi has been very useful, especially to the new signings, in demonstrating how a Juventus midfielder runs off the ball. When you are a pro footballer, that can hit the woodwork on purpose 8 out of 10 times from the spot, and you get left on the bench for a guy that can't hit the goal 8 out...

    Paul Pogba

Yeah - that is the worst, but very realistic scenario. I just hope United would tank some games. They have young, fresh and hungry players though... We can't take a new 100M target after each round of EPL. Pogba, I am certain, realizes that. He also knows how 'deep' United's love run for him...

    Federico Bernardeschi

Hopefully last Berna game for us. Useful in defense, helps out Cuadrado... he is an attacking player ffs. Can't take his man, can't invent shit, can't pass the ball ... and scoring - that is not his thing. Let him move on we need quality here.

    Daniele Rugani

Actually Rugain might as well stay. BonBon is the dickhead that needs to go. Those brainfarts of his aren't going away, his concentration levels are absurdly low for a 30+ year old CB with 10+ titles. Make Pep happy this summer and sell him BonBon. Let's see how he can combine with MDL or...

    Maurizio Sarri

I actually disagree. The loss is not on him as we simply switched off, but he is the guy that has to be aware how that 'switch' works. Maybe we need to sell BonBon? Maybe we need a defensive midfielder like Vidal or even tougher - Roy Keane. Someone that left alone would get the red card in 10...

@Quetzalcoatl A Pogba/SMS/Aouar is a dream upgrade on that old Matuidi workhorse and misfiring Ramsey. We have Rabiot, Arthur and Bentacur to do the dirty work/shuttling and that is where Rabiot does improve and deserves a chance. But they are not attacking midfielder, or they won't be here...

    Summer Mercato Thread 2020-21

@Quetzalcoatl I don't see it that way tbh. If we are playing Dybala as a CF and Kulu/upgraded Costa - CR7 wide we are't gonna get an attacking midfielder as a starter/specialist. Dybala, Kulu and Ramsey(who stays if plays, I think even he agrees) can fill that slot should we need to tailor for...

Jorginho would cost a lot and has reached his peak. I see him as an incoming Pjanic. Rabiot's on the rise and should be given the chance, unless his exit opens a more important door - like Pogba. Otherwise it's better to look for an younger midfielder, even 'italiEns' from the loan before own...

    The Financial Situation

There is no need to 'convince' anyone. All the 'convincing' has been done by the Barcelona board one way or the other. Given Man City CL ban stays for 2 years, Messi would finish his career in Italy >50%. Would it be Inter, if they are competitive enough by then to rival us, or here - it would...

De Laurentis is inbetween confused and a greedy moron, when it comes to negotiations. He paid 45M for Milik the player isn't indispensable, has one year left on his contract, had 2 ACL injuries - and is still valued at 45M. Why not simply get the Lille youngster here, leave ADL with Milik for...
