Lionel Messi wins Fifa World Player of the Year award

Personally, I'm of the mind that Xavi and Messi were equally integral in the greatest club team of all time, so it's hard to pick between them. that being said, yes Xavi is the better player to build a team around, but Messi has more star appeal based on his electrifying play, so when it comes...

    [ENG] Premiership 2009/2010

City's owners are the worst kind of people to be running a football club. For all their talk and assurances that they wouldn't act like Abromovich, what do they do? Sack Hughes and appoint Mancini...they go one step more than Abromovich: they actually appointed a far worse coach than they had!

    Barca fanboy debate

That's an interesting idea, but it's been done. Man-marking Xavi only works until one of the other players moves into the pivot. Iniesta, Messi, and Busquets will all fulfill that role when necessary. As for playing a high-line, that's just suicide. Alves, Pedro, Messi, Iniesta, or Keita...

Because he's a jack-ass and nobody liked him. He got a fresh start in Spain where nobody knows him.

I don't believe that I do fit that definition completely, but I understand that some people think of me in that way. I don't have a problem with people calling me a gloryhunter. I do have a problem with people acting like they know what I'm about and what my motivations are when they do not...

Ignorance. I have no relationship to Bilbao at all, there's no reason for me to support that club. Furthermore, I disagree with their exclusion of foreign players. I don't care what you think of me, but stop saying that I do "this or that" for "this or that" reason. You don't know my reasons...

    [Serie A] Bari 3-1 JUVENTUS (December 12th, 2009)

Come on now. I didn't say anything about Juve and now you're going to play the faggot card? I mean, I don't care if you call me a douchebag or an idiot as I have no regard for sanitary devices or fools, but you're just being ignorant when you call me a faggot. I thought Canadians were more...

    [SPA] La Liga 2009/2010

No excuse needed. Of course referees favour Barcelona. It's hard not to favour a team that plays such beautiful football and gets hacked all the time. That being said, it wasn't a penalty, but I think it's a bit of a stretch for a Juve fan to be complaining about biased referees...

    [Serie A] Bari 3-1 JUVENTUS (December 12th, 2009)

I won't comment on the performance by either team. I will, however, say that the pitch was in terrible shape and Bari should be ashamed of themselves for that. Seriously, I can't remember the last time I saw a pitch with three foot trenches full of mud in the goalmouth...shameful...

    Il disastro di Torino

I made one emoticon comment which did not directly insult the club. The comment was related to the match. Perhaps it could be interpreted as insulting to the club, but I certainly have not been insulting to members here.

Alright, my point was more that Cacares should be aiming higher than to be "as good as Sergio Ramos". Perhaps I should have been more direct.

    Il disastro di Torino

Are you serious? You don't believe Juve were involved in match fixing? I guess that's why Moggi was banned from football for five years and Juve were demoted to Serie B, because there was no match fixing....ridiculous.

Do you watch LaLiga? Seriously, do you? I don't want to make assumptions but the only way I can see you saying that is if you only watch Ramos play for Spain, in which case I could understand your point...
