How's life in fairytale land, guys?

    [Serie A] Juventus 2-2 Fiorentina [29th December, 2024 18:00 CET]

Not that it would have been a convincing win, but we really could & should have won this one. These are the games that we basically won all the time in the past, including last season. Simply because we'd kill the game & the opponent wouldn't score. Let alone twice. Motta is still clueless, though.

    The Financial Situation

Squad cost: 108% This club has been ran by retarded idiots these past few years. If football was a normal business, we'd have been bankrupt by now.

    Serie A 2024-25

    No. Yes. No.

    Pierre Kalulu

But it isn't. There have been quite a few games where he's been underwhelming.

    [Serie A] Monza 1-2 Juventus [22nd December, 2024 20:45 CET]

Progress! This game really had it all: - Amateur defending from both sides. - Another one of those games from Vlahovic. - McKennie being everywhere, literally. (This is not a compliment in case anyone is wondering.) - A clueless Motta. - Me being puzzled by what I'm seeing. The more the...

    Thiago "The Fired Fraud" Motta

Of course. No sane person is actually going to believe Motta would still be here next season if we miss out on the CL. A coach who's been successful (with us) in the past might get a pass when failing to qualify. But a newbie like Motta? Not a chance. Then again, maybe I'm just thinking about...

    Thiago "The Fired Fraud" Motta

Of course not. I'm okay with giving him some time, because it's his first "big" job and he has to deal with a small & extremely unbalanced squad, but as soon as CL qualification becomes virtually impossible, he has to go. Even if it means firing him in, for example, March.

    Thiago "The Fired Fraud" Motta

Personally, I expected a few more wins/points. And, by this point in the season, better performances in general. (Better does not mean more attacking, obviously.)

    Thiago "The Fired Fraud" Motta

    Apparently not.
  12. Buck Fuddy

    Manuel Locatelli

He's probaly the most important player we have right now. When he has an off game, we don't win. It's that simple.
  13. Buck Fuddy

    Weston “Chubby Bunny” McKennie

Nope. He isn't great in very tactical or closed games. You definitely can't expect him to hold the shape of the team together like Locatelli does, for example. That's why/when people complain about him. But play him to his strengths (lots of open spaces to run into, somewhat free role), and...

    Cristiano Giuntoli

So, weakening the team for the greater good? I'll never agree with that.

    [Serie A] Juventus 2-2 Bologna [7th December, 2024 18:00 CET]

Why is @icemaη such a lazy bugger? We're playing City in 2 days & still no match thread.
  16. Buck Fuddy

    Thiago "The Fired Fraud" Motta

Lazio & Fiorentina will almost certainly slow down. But on the other hand, Milan will probably improve as time goes on. Right now, I'd say it's between us & those 3 to get that vital 4th spot. If I was a betting man, I wouldn't put my money on us.
  17. Buck Fuddy

    Cristiano Giuntoli

Nah. I'll never judge directors on individual transfers. It's a big picture thing, really. But look at Giuntoli's "achievements" over the first 17 or 18 months: - Instead of simply ending the collaboration & firing him, he basically boycotted one of the most succesful managers we ever had...

    Cristiano Giuntoli

I've said it before and I'll say it again: We went from "Vincere non è importante, è l'unica cosa che conta." to "Vincere non è importante."
  20. Buck Fuddy

    Thiago "The Fired Fraud" Motta

I think I have seen literally 0 people blaming our struggle entirely on him. But in the end, he will obviously be held responsible. It's his job to come up with solutions & get results.
