There is no way the Muani deal is independent of Vlahovic

Vlahovic is holding all the cards here. From his perspective he knows the club can’t keep him and sign Kolo. He can always bag his 12m net and still get plenty of playing time and then choose any club he wants at the end of the season. So the base case remains that he stays and Muani stays at PSG.

60m all up is not that crazy when you consider other striker transactions. Retegui went for 65m, Nunez 58m, Sesko 85m…. Even Piccoli went for 25m. Remember PSG paid 95m for Kolo only a few years back.

You do realise that Vlahovic will cost us 41m this year if we keep him vs ~23m for Kolo Muani right? It would allow us to reinforce other parts of the squad too. The transfer market needs to be taken in context of all objectives.
