Wow Aug 30 almost done and we have only signed 2 new players all window and have sold many. The FFP really must be a big thing holding us back.

    Summer mercato thread 2025-26

So at the end of last season, we had a squad of 27 players which included 4 players that were acquired during the January transfer window due to the fact that Bremer, Cabal and Milik were not available - these were: Veiga, Kelly, Costa and Muani - and they offloaded Danilo in January - meaning...

I was just thinking if we don’t sign Muani and Zhegrova, these are two players that we’re saying no to everyone to join Juventus with Zhegrova even getting an Albanian passport. In the next window, no player will wait knowing our track record.

Aish. Looks like we are losing Zhegrova. That’s a real bummer if true. Another stupid question: Will we sign anyone today? We sold yet another player after all. Only 3 days left realistically.

    Randal Kolo Muani

I agree with him arriving, I feel we have a lot more attacking variation. You could even have Yildiz behind David and Muani - that could work well too. Or If Yildiz is not available you could even have Muani out on the left, David in the middle and Conceicao on the right.

Yeh its a lot. However, Savona, Muani and Zhegrova I think it certainly possible. Nico would be last minute depending if the Milan-Saelemakers deal happens. If it doesn't, then a Molina swap for Nico could happen. 1756355775 Yes we are overpaying for Muani. Few would disagree. It is what...

    Summer mercato thread 2025-26

Ok it looks Kolo Muani is going to happen but the key difference is that the 60m price tag is split as 5+55. And it looks we will sell Savona >13m. In the fist year, Muani will cost us -18m (5m loan and 13m in gross salary). He would cost us 24m per year in the 2nd year but by then...

    Summer mercato thread 2025-26

There is a lot negativity here and I totally get it. However the 2 new players we did get have so far been quite encouraging - David and Joao Mario. Our finances and new management are trying to clean up part of the mess from previous transfer windows which heavily restricts us from making big...

Only part of it. 15m plusvulenza in one year compared to 24m per year for Muani

    Summer mercato thread 2025-26

Currently we have 5 midfielders for 2 spots - Locatelli, Thuram, Koopmeiners, McKennie, and Miretti. We have 3 wingbacks for 3 spots - Joao Mario, Cambiaso, and Kostic (4 if you count Rouhi). 5 if you include Nico who looks to on the way out. We have 7 defenders for 3 spots: Savona, Kalulu...

What about inserting a buy back option at a predetermined price like what Real Madrid did to us back in the day for Morata?

    Jadon Sancho - RW/LW - Manchester United

The transfer fee was never the issue. His wages would be very high for someone who wouldn’t be a guaranteed starter.
