    Daniele Rugani

Don't know. Both are very impressive. They make a very nice pairing with Rugani as more of a sweeper and Romagnoli as a more aggressive player who wants to step forward and try to win the ball early. Generally players like Rugani are harder to find, so if you had a choice between the two...

Julian Draxler - AM LC - Schalke 04

Be careful if you are an English cricketer. 111 is considered unlucky.

Mario Götze - AM - Bayern Munich

He'll be fine once the marinara sauce injections start and his hair becomes long and greasy.

Mario Götze - AM - Bayern Munich

No. I vey much doubt it.

    Claudio Marchisio

Sure, but you still need a certain standard of passing from the deeper players in order to get the ball to the attackers well enough and often enough to give them a good chance to influence the game.

    Claudio Marchisio

Yeah, Khedira can play there up to a point, but it's certainly not where he's best. Think it would be useful for Juve to pick up some solid Serie A player to be backup to Marchisio. Valdifiori would have been suitable.

    Claudio Marchisio

Nah. Don't think his passing is good enough. Also think he's better where he is given a freer role so he can use his athleticism, rather than being restricted in the way the deepest player usually is.

    Claudio Marchisio

This is something I brought up a while ago. Juve don't have anyone else that I'd view as adequate in that position just now.

    Giuseppe Marotta

Pretty sure I read something that said Tevez told the Juve management months ago that he wanted to go to Boca. Juve just signed Dybala before the public knew Tevez was leaving. My point with Vidal and his replacement is that I don't feel that pattern is quite pieced together yet as we don't...

    Giuseppe Marotta

That we don't know is exactly my point. Pedro is suggesting Juve have got things wrong by selling Vidal without securing a replacement. I'm suggesting we can't know that yet, but the speed with which a Draxler/Goetze deal happens may give us some clue.

Julian Draxler - AM LC - Schalke 04

But how much of that is just down to him not being fit and him playing for a club that routinely fails to get the most out of its players?

    Giuseppe Marotta

There's still too much that is unknown just now. The price is about right if Vidal only has another three good seasons left in him. If he lasts longer than that, then Juve may have sold him slightly under value. I'm curious to see how things develop with regards to Goetze/Draxler. If things...

Julian Draxler - AM LC - Schalke 04

Schalke's management is shit. I wouldn't trust their judgement on players at all.

    Giuseppe Marotta

I don't think it is unreasonable to suggest that Marotta has now done well enough at Juve to have earned a little faith from the fans.

    Paul Pogba

Expect Mourinho to get a call from the marketing people at the EPL and Sky and be told not to say such things. Can't go damaging the league's prestige like that.

    Summer mercato 2015

Juve draw up a Plan A and a Plan B and so people somehow get the idea both players could be signed. :howler:
