What Are You Doing Right Now?

Is it just that people aren't well enough informed? If you pay some attention to current events in general you are going to have a decent idea of what bad things are happening, so a picture only serves as confirmation of what you knew/assumed was going on. Or are people genuinely surprised...

http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/sep/04/images-aylan-kurdi-syria Always curious how people are indifferent to a headline about X many kids dying, but react to a picture of one dead kid.

    Giuseppe Marotta

I think Draxler is as much trequartista as winger and could become a good trequartista. I agree about Goetze not really being a trequartista - I see him as more of a forward.

Firmino looks SS/winger to me, not a trequartista. Never liked Pastore. Anderson is also more of a winger and I doubt he'd be worth what Lazio would ask. I still see him as a pretty big risk. Gaitan would have been interesting.

Which 'world class' trequartista should Marotta have signed?

The key thing with Camoranesi was that he was extremely intelligent and technically gifted for a wide player, so he could fit that role. Normally when I see wide players playing narrow, I'm struck by how erratic their decision making is and how poor their first touch appears when they aren't in...

What Are You Doing Right Now?

It's not Che. It's greatest ever Aberdeen player Willie Miller in mock-Che style. :P And the forum is still entertaining in many ways. We've just lost the ability to have more in-depth, interesting debates in recent times.

I've no issue with you reporting that post. I just thought 'crybaby' was an interesting remark to throw in in that context.

Did De Laurentiis actually ask for that, though? I suspect he just said he'd consider selling Hamsik if he could get one or both of Sturaro and Rugani. Juve weren't up for losing either of them so talks will have stopped before you even get on to player's valuations. Napoli were up for...

What Are You Doing Right Now?

Didn't think it was worse than it often is. Been a long time since there was any genuine prospect of a calm, reasonable discussion without arseholes hijacking it. It's an interesting challenge moderating just now. As a poster, I instinctively want to ignore the posts from vast swathes of...

I don't know Suarez, but the other guys are not the sort of player Allegri has tended to look for as his trequartista. He's always favoured someone there who would be considered a midfielder and the guys you mention are forwards. And most of them fairly underwhelming forwards at that.
