No. I wonder what it is like though. You don't happen to have been there?

In that case: germany. And don't mention the war.

If you're asking where I'm from because you want to know my religion: I'm a Roman Catholic.

I don't think you understood what I was saying. It wasn't mean negatively.

btw, shouldn't Seven be unbanned? It's christmas for everyone. I'd like to have a chat with the guy.

He has been attacking people for things that didn't really have much to do with the Qu'ran in the first place. He was having a fight with Seven, simply because the latter implied the Qu'ran could have been written by people and that God might not exist and now he's doing the same with snoop...

True, but I don't think the core of christian believe has altered since the beginning. I also don't think christians are as strict to the Bible as Muslims are to the Qu'ran. You for example will probably still spend a lot time reading the Qu'ran, but that's not so much the case for christians...

Well that's certainly a position I can understand. I was only saying that christians don't believe in that principle. So although that's not how I see things, I do understand that that's another way. After all christian societies have prisons as well and some of them still have the death penalty...

Then why is he attacking people because they don't believe in the Qu'ran? That's simply retarded and should not go by unnoticed on this forum. If I can be frank, I think it's a disgrace the mods haven't done anything about this yet. Look at how the guy is treating snoop.

You're going to be very offended with what I'll say now, thus I already apologise: If one of the three is more likely than the other to be straight from God it's the Torah, because it was there first. I won't believe the Qu'ran is any more "pure" as Muslims tend to say, because it looks like...

Christianity judges any form of violence. Islam judges most violence, unless it's used for the good. That's a big difference. In practice however it really doesn't matter.

I think Hambon78 is trying to say you're an uneducated fool if you don't believe in the Qu'ran. I don't know why Hambon78 hasn't been banned yet, because I do believe that he's a religion fanatic. What I suggest is that you pity him. If you come across such people in real life, bigger actions...

Well, that's the exact same story christians believe in. But TBH all three Holy Books are more or less the same. Christians simply took the Thora and Muslims put together a mélange. I may sound disrespectful and I apologise for that, but that's what all three of them are really: the same book...

I can and I will. You see when I say violence is justifiable for muslims that in no way means they will apply that violence whenever they can. Catholics have never been tolerant ever since they became the religion of the state in the Western Roman Empire, but christian belief has always judged...

    Moment of Clarity

I'm sorry if I hinted that, but I didn't say Islam promoted violence. I said violence was justifiable for muslims, but it isn't for christians. As for the prosecution argument: I can very well understand Mohammed's humanity in using violence, but Jesus also went through prosecution and never...

Altair, there's no place for the word "proof" in a religious discussion. Proof is something rational. Proof is something that cannot be obtained when it comes down to God's existence.

fact: one cannot prove God's existence. This is something some people in here are unwilling to admit, but if I may be frank and I believe I may, that attitude is medieval and something I would like to stay as far away from as possible. I suggest every sane person to do the same.
